Press release

Galerie Dix9 presents a solo show by Mexican Jorge Rosano Gamboa in the section Bawwaba, selected by Mirjam Varadinis, curator at large at Kunsthaus Zurich.

Jorge Rosano Gamboa?s work invites us to rethink how we coexist, both with one another and with our environment, by rooting his creative process in the traditions and collaborative practices of local communities.
His art centers on capturing the fleeting essence of moments while deeply respecting the cultural heritage of his native Mexico. The artist brings traditional crafts and rituals into dialogue with contemporary media, creating works that embody a shared cultural memory and offer new models of coexistence grounded in mutual respect and exchange.
