Anne Deguelle,
Duft, Smell, Olor
Internationally, numerous artists have dealt directly or indirectly with olfactory aspects in their artist publications. This was done on the one hand through a conceptual examination and on the other hand by dealing with materials that smell. Gerhard Rühm, for example, addressed smelling in the radio play Rhythmus r (1964), Anne Deguelle designed a Portait olfactif de Marcel Duchamp (2006), and Hella Berent created Forno (1990), an artist?s book made of rubber pages.
